Jessica Knoll, Founder of A Heart for Math

Meet Jessica Knoll, M.Ed.

Jessica Knoll is the founder and lead tutor of A Heart for Math. With a degree from the University of Michigan and a Master's in Education, Jessica is a certified secondary mathematics instructor who has dedicated her career to helping students discover their love for mathematics.

After more than 25 years in the classroom, Jessica made the decision to pivot to one-on-one tutoring. This transition allows her to focus exclusively on each student's individual journey and learning needs. She has found that personalized, patient instruction transforms not only students' understanding of mathematics but also their confidence and attitude toward the subject.

"All students can successfully tap into and unlock their innate quantitative reasoning skills. I love watching students experience success and grow confidence in themselves."

Jessica's teaching philosophy centers on the belief that mathematics is not just about formulas and procedures—it's about developing critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and seeing the world through a mathematical lens. Whether you're struggling with basic concepts, preparing for standardized tests, or seeking to deepen your understanding of advanced topics, Jessica brings expertise, patience, and a genuine passion for helping you succeed.
